Privacy Policy

The new EU data protection rules come into force on 25 May 2018, replacing the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) aims to harmonise legislation across all EU member states by ensuring that organisations properly file and organise client records, control such data and act in accordance with the consent granted by the client.

The GDPR provides new and enhanced rights over the handling of personal information including the right to be informed on how organisations handle this data.  Origin is committed to processing personal data in a fair and transparent manner and we have produced the attached Privacy Notice to explain how we handle and use personal data.

The personal information we ask for will be used by us and third parties who process information on our behalf. This includes organisations' who administer policies, service claims and reinsurers. As the Insurance Intermediary, you must ensure that our Privacy Notice is passed to the Insured &/or Policyholder within a reasonable period of policy inception or renewal , and no later than one month from the date when you obtained their personal data.
