The Origin UW team have collated their other product manufacturer’s Fair Value Assessments (“FVA”). Please find them below, listed by Product.
The updated FCA PROD rules require manufacturers to conduct a fair value assessment of each product; distributors are required to understand this assessment and how it applies to their target market and ensure they do not undermine it.
What happens next
All distributors in the distribution chain will need to review the FVA information provided to:
- understand the insurance products Origin UW distributes
- determine the identified target market for the insurance products
- identify any customer segment for whom the insurance product is not compatible, particularly in relation to their needs, characteristics, and objectives
- carry out distribution activities for the relevant insurance products with the customer's best interests at heart
